Rockwell offers a glamorous yet serene retreat from the vibrant streets below, located right in the social heart of Cape Town: the trendy De Waterkant precinct. Take a stroll through its cobbled streets, past chi-chi pavement cafes, the city's best decor outlets, top restaurants and great nightlife options - all set against the charming backdrop of Cape Malay-influenced architecture. All the city centre's top attractions - the Castle, Slave Lodge, Greenmarket Square, South African National Gallery and Company Gardens - are within walking distance; the Waterfront is a few minute's drive away. The living space is comprised of an open-plan lounge, a dining room - the dining table features 12 Louis Ghost chairs, designed by Philippe Starck - and a very well equipped kitchen. Up a flight of stairs leads one to the mezzanine level,where the study/playroom/living area can be found. The building in which Rockwell is housed offers state-of-the-art security, and the convenience of direct underground parking, a well equipped private gym, a good sized lap pool, restaurants, and an on-site deli. Each of the four air-conditioned bedrooms at Rockwell is open, spacious, and luxurious.
There is cleaning service provided at Rockwell from Monday to Friday. Whatever your staffing requirements, whether it be a private chef or cook, a nanny, or a concierge to arrange private tours and excursions, this can all be arranged. Private transfers to and from the airport can be arranged. The second bedroom is fitted with a Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms are each fitted with Queen size beds and walk-in closets. The en-suite bathrooms in these last two bedrooms feature a bathtub or a separate shower.
