The old fireplaces, ancient cotto floors and beamed ceilings have all been preserved. The interiors are especially well furnished with the original antique furniture. Spacious and very light ensure a relaxing atmosphere.A large garden on three sides of the villa is well maintained and dotted with fig and lime trees. The swimming pool is in the front of the villa and boasts views of the gorgeous plains of Lucca.This welcoming Tuscan villa can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 bedrooms. Buonvisi's ground floor includes an entrance hall, a dining room, a large well equipped kitchen with fireplace, a library with fireplace, a spacious sitting room with fireplace, and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The first floor features two twin bedrooms and four double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The fireplaces in the kitchen, library and sitting room make Buonvisi suitable for a winter retreat as well as a summer retreat.The house has a satellite television, a DVD player and a stereo system. The maid who takes care of the villa housekeeping and laundry is available for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. The housekeeper is also an excellent cook and on will prepare local dishes for guests at an additional cost. Buonvisi also shares a tennis court available for guests to use at their own discretion.
