Description
Tassana Pra Villa is a luxurious and upscale four bedroom villa rental in Koh Samui that has been known as one of the symbols of Thai elegance and class on the island. The villa sits directly in front of the historical Big Buddha Temple, from which its name was derived ("House facing towards the Buddha") and provides its guests with absolutely beautiful views of the ocean and neighboring islands. Tassana Pra Villa occupies a spectacular location atop a hillside and enjoys unsurpassed views across Samui's northeastern coastline and the straits beyond to the distant outer islands. The villa is made of authentic teak wood and was constructed following the architecture techniques of Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of Siam. Guests are welcomed onto the property by a large security gate that opens to the 4,800 square meters of lush gardens and tranquil landscaping. The first of the five pavilions boasts a towering thatched roof that is supported by 16 authentic columns. Upon entering, guests will find the luxurious living area and formal dining room, which open to the shaded terrace, where guests may enjoy a meal al fresco style while watching the sun set. The four additional pavilions are accessed through this area and are adjacent to the main pavilion. There are five spacious pavilions spread out amongst the gardens and ponds, each with magnificent views of the seaside and Big Buddha. There is a luxurious free-form swimming pool that can be accessed from the front garden. Some of the amenities at Tassana Pra Villa that guests will no doubt enjoy include satellite color television, DVD players, CD players, a stereo system, and a telephone line with internet access.
There are four spacious air-conditioned bedrooms throughout the property as well as a baby cot and equipment for small children. Three of the pavilions host the four, well-appointed bedrooms, which include three double beds and one twin bedroom. Each bedroom combines traditional Thai styles with modern, western comforts and facilities, including a private en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower; also, only the finest bed linens have been selected to grace the bedrooms. The fourth bedroom is located on the lower level and is ideal for children. The fourth pavilion hosts the owner's private study as well as a guest bathroom.
The professional and well trained staff is constantly on hand to help guests with anything they may need during their stay and includes,a maid who tends to the housekeeping twice a day, and the house manager who resides on the property and is also a Thai chef, who will prepare a complimentary continental breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. In house wine selections are available as well as a full list of food and beverages at the villa. Guests can spend their time relaxing at the completely private villa, tour the Big Buddha Temple, participate in water sports on the beach, or take a diving lesson. A wide range of spa services can be arranged to accommodate you in the privacy of your own villa, and will be at additional cost. The Guest Relations and Concierge team will visit guests during their stay to ensure your villa experience is a superlative one. Car rentals may be arranged with full insurance coverage, with or without a driver, and will be at additional cost.
