Description
Situated the setting on the highly desirable Peterborg Peninsula on St. Thomas' quiet North shore, this modern Caribbean villa offers spectacular views and a tranquil atmosphere. An archway welcomes you into St. Somewhere's courtyard where you can look past the pool to the sparkling panorama of majestic Magens Bay.
On one side of the courtyard is St. Somewhere's main pavilion which houses the high ceilinged Great Room. This room offers stunning ocean views from an open-plan kitchen, a dining area, and a shady covered verandah just off the pool. The fully equipped kitchen has an island, accented in local stonework, and set with barstools.
The outdoor patio offers a soothing sea vista and views of the green hills of St. Thomas beyond. Comfortable, cushioned seating and alfresco dining make this spot a favorite. The tiled deck continues to the infinity-edge pool, set with chaise lounges for reading while working on your island tan.
On the other side of the sun deck is St. Somewhere's two-story bedroom/bath pavilion, fronted by a lawn punctuated with tropical plantings and vivid flowers. Two equally-sized king suites overlook the pool and the calming expanse of Magens Bay from private balconies.
The upper suite is done in a delicious key lime pie color, with a romantic four-poster bed. It features its own small covered verandah which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The lower suite is done in a beautiful blue with four-poster bed. En suite baths are tiled and feature marble floors and large showers with an ocean view St. Somewhere's interiors employ artful use of light and color, pleasing choices of fabric, artwork and accessories, but the design is not fussy. St. Somewhere offers all the elements for an unforgettable tropical escape.
