Description
La Bastide villa is perched on a hillside in Terres Basses, offering mesmerizing views of the ocean and over the island of St. Martin. With construction completed in late 2004, this beautiful gated estate boasts complete privacy, lush tropical landscape and a gorgeous swimming pool set in the middle of an elegantly styled veranda. The red barrel-tiled roof adds to the island flavor of La Bastide. A three-minute drive delivers guests to the white sands and rolling waves of the beach.
La Bastide is stylishly decorated with rattan and wicker furnishings. The beautiful interior pieces are accented with large white-fabric cushions. The white exposed-beam ceilings throughout adds to the grand ambience. Polished travertine flooring graces this most elegant of St Martin vacation villas and continues onto the veranda, which is furnished with black wrought iron and white cushions. There are three detached equal-size bedrooms with large mosaic-tiled bathrooms, and one large bedroom located on the lower part of the villa, offering privacy and tranquility. All bedrooms feature king-size beds, private bathrooms with showers, air conditioning, ceiling fans, TVs and DVD players.
One of the really luxurious St. Martin villa rentals, it features a gorgeous gourmet kitchen that overlooks the swimming pool. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and modern appliances, for easy preparation of alfresco meals enjoyed on the lovely veranda. Maid service is offered six days a week. A gourmet chef and/or butler can be made available, for additional charge and by prior arrangement. Lots of outdoor activities are close at hand. Guests can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, sun bathing, horseback riding and evening excursions. Wonderful restaurants and duty-free shopping are also nearby.
