Le Chateau des Palmiers is a luxurious villa that is highly recommended for large groups of discriminating travelers and families. The villa sits on the white sands of Plum Baie Beach and captures glorious sunsets each evening. This air-conditioned Caribbean chateau offers the rarified ambience of a secluded French seaside villa on five very private and lushly landscaped acres.
One of the most luxurious Plum Baie Beach, Terres Basses villas, it offers 18,500 square feet of living space. The interiors are exceptionally well furnished and decorated in the French neoclassical style. The Oceanside Pavilion has a foyer, formal living and dining rooms, media room, fully equipped kitchen, casual dining area and balcony dining area and three half baths. Its five bedrooms have king beds, ensuite bathrooms, Internet access and satellite TVs with DVD players. The master bedroom is finished in hues of gold and has a hand-painted mural dome, upstairs office area, luxurious bath with Jacuzzi, and two private oceanview balconies. The Gardenside Pavilion offers four bedrooms with en suite baths, luxurious designer linens and towels, and satellite TVs with DVD players. Also located in the Gardenside Pavilion is the Jungle Suite, with a king-size bed and sitting room with pullout sofa, which could sleep two additional guests. The Palm Suite has elegant white decor with king mahogany bed. And there's a two-bedroom suite, where two queen bedrooms share a living room and dining room. Gardenside also features a huge commercial catering kitchen.
One of the best-equipped St. Martin villas, it has a state-of-the-art fitness center with stereo system, TV, shower, Stairmaster, treadmill, EFX, cross cable, free weights, thigh machine and hamstring/quad machine. The private, fenced tennis court includes a covered spectators' pavilion. The private swimming pool is heated, as are the two outdoor showers. The staff at Le Chateau des Palmiers includes three housekeepers, two gardeners, one maintainence man, and a chef and butler (food, beverage or catering services are available for additional cost). The staff of the property is overseen by estate managers an English-speaking couple who provide in-house concierge services.
