Description
La Fleur des Pitons is a spacious villa that was completed in 2007. This alluring property is designed in true plantation style, with sweeping verandas providing stunning views of land and sea. The property lies on a breathtaking position on the high ridge between the dramatic Pitons of St. Lucia. The lovely house not only has fabulous views of these twin mountains and the Caribbean, it enjoys refreshing trade-wind breezes throughout its open-plan living areas. On the west veranda is an amazing 40-by-12-foot infinity-edge swimming pool, which gives the illusion of spilling down the hillside.
On opposite ends of the pool deck are an alfresco dining area and a spacious sundeck, furnished with comfortable chaise longues. A convenient bathroom with shower sits directly off the pool area. An adjacent cottage, called La Petite Fleur, features charming furnishings, modern amenities and a large studio room with a queen-size, four-poster bed (it can be rented with main villa or on its own). This St. Lucia vacation paradise also features an enormous great room, warm and tranquil, framed on three sides with beautiful louvered doors, each opening onto a spacious 10-foot covered veranda. Comfortable furnishings are found under high exposed-beam ceilings. The south veranda faces an amazing stone waterfall, adding to the ambience of tranquility.
La Fleur des Pitons has two spacious bedrooms with high-vaulted ceilings and private balconies. Each boasts a king-size, four-poster bed with wonderful linens, walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom and a serene sitting area. Wonderful views of the Pitons can be enjoyed from the bedroom balconies. A gourmet, fully equipped kitchen, with a huge ceramic tile-laid bar and comfortable stools, is a great place for relaxed dining. A convenient computer and telephone access area is located off the bar.
