Description
Seacove is one of the most desireable villas in all the Virgin Islands. The very handsome architecture shelters spacious interiors of classic modern and traditional furnishings that open to terraces and sublime tropical views of ocean and island. It is set within lush landscaping, including a soothing garden waterfall and a bounty of bananas, citruses, papayas and coconut palms. A grand courtyard entrance welcomes you to Seacove, hinting at the magnificence within.
The main villa offers polished coral stone floors, carved coral pillars and dramatic archways, set against an artistic counterpoint of native bluebit stone walls, inlaid with seashells from around the world. On the main level, the airy great room's high ceilings, custom hand-carved cypress furniture and plush sofas share space with dining areas. A wonderful custom kitchen is superbly outfitted with a chef's gas cooktop, double ovens, Caphalon cookware and a generous collection of tableware. Adjacent to the great room is an air-conditioned media room and library, with beautifully handcrafted woodwork, a large-screen TV, music, movies, books and a wet bar. French doors open to the upper terrace of this jewel of Peter Bay villas, overlooking the enchanting blue ocean. The king master suite adjoins, with a separate office that has an Internet-ready computer and fax machine. A fabulous his-and-hers master bathroom/dressing room completes this lavish suite. The second and third bedrooms and baths are situated on opposite sides of the pool terrace.
Stairs lead to Seacove's lower level and second living area, equipped with a large-screen TV, wet bar and mini-fridge. This opens directly to a covered terrace, bordered by the heated pool, whimsically inlaid with tile turtles. Across the courtyard is the two-story Gatehouse, each floor offering a queen bedroom/bath suite (the lower suite has a complete small kitchen, and the upper suite, two scenic balconies). All bedrooms are air conditioned and fully screened, and equipped with satellite television. One of the most enchanting St. John villas, Seacove boasts a grand scale, superb tropical landscaping and views, constant cool breezes, fine detailing, custom cypress furnishings and shutters, and many more deluxe features that will delight the most discriminating guest.
