À La Mer

Surrounded by palm trees, bougainvillea, foxtail and many other types of lush vegetation, À la Mer, a private waterfront villa on Great Cruz bay, is just waiting for guests to come and soak up the warm Caribbean sun. This lovely villa offers a great opportunity for experienced divers to snorkel right in front of the villa. The villa is also only a 10 minute walk away from The Westin Resort’s white sand beach.

Outside, the pool has a white sand edge making it feel more like a beach than a swimming pool. A stone waterfall delicately cascades into the pool, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The pool also has a wet bar. The extensive decking offers several shaded lounging areas with couches so you can enjoy your favorite drink or relax while you keep an eye on the kids. A spacious round table can be found under the villa’s roofed pergola. Guests can also find a nearby ping pong table, 2 gas grills and a fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows in the evenings.

The inside of this 2 story villa is fully air-conditioned. The great room has large arched windows. High wooden ceilings bring out the lovely stone walls. Two big white couches and a dining table that seats up to 14 people grace the open space. A family room is located close by where French doors open on both sides of the room revealing a fountain on the front patio and the pool area in the back. A fully equipped kitchen with a huge fridge has direct access to the poolside dining area via a pass though window. There are two convenient guest baths, one located off the kitchen and another in the pool cabana, as well as two outdoor showers.

The villa has two king sized bedrooms on the ground floor. Screened French doors give both rooms access to covered patios that lead down to the pool area. There are another five bedrooms on the upper floor overlooking the pool.  Each one of these bedrooms features a private balcony where guests can view the yachts on the Bay. All of the bedrooms in the main villa have en-suite bathrooms. A small study can also be found on the upper floor.

The villa also offers a private cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage offers a bedroom with two queen sized beds and an en-suite bathroom on its upper floor. A ninth bedroom with twin beds can be found on the ground floor.
