Hakuna Matata is one of the most charming and desireable villas on St. John. This astonishing three-story property offers commanding pillars, dramatic archways and native stone, giving the property an old-world elegance. Guests can enjoy expansive views of Drake's Passage, Cinnamon Beach, the sea and neighboring islands. A large and very private swimming pool is surrounded by a stone sundeck, furnished with comfortable chaise longues.
The interiors of Hakuna Matata were carefully chosen and create a warm and wonderful ambience that is both sophisticated and casual. Entering the property, guests find a staircase that leads them to four well-appointed bedrooms, each complete with a private terrace and ocean views. On the main level, visitors find the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious living room and formal dining room, as well as access to the swimming pool and deck.
Hakuna Matata offers distinctive architecture, lovely interiors, furnished terraces and stunning views, an ideal combination for romantic retreats and family getaways. A maid visits the property two days a week. The villa is fully equipped with air conditioning, high-speed Internet access, a gas grill and cable television that has a VCR/DVD player. During the day, guests can lounge by the pool or go to the beach and snorkel in the crystal-blue waters of the Caribbean.
