Mariposa Mexico

Mariposa's ground floor Master Bedroom features colonial antique furniture, including a romantic king size canopy bed. There are overhead fans, heated floors and a lovely antique stone fireplace with a carved mantel. The master bath has a large tub and looks out on a tiny private garden complete with a small fountain.

Despite having a certain bohemian flare, the ground floor guest bedroom is similarly appointed with antiques, Spanish touches, over head fan, heated floors and a stone fireplace. This room contains two divinely comfortable single canopy beds. The bathroom houses a shower and a separate toilet stall decorated with niches and colonial accessories.
The second floor is an open concept living room and kitchen overlooking the courtyard. The living area is perfect for entertaining and the kitchen contains a stairway that leads to a lovely rooftop terrace. A dumbwaiter services all three floors of the house.

The Rooftop Terrace comprises the entire upper level and features a jacuzzi dipping pool with panoramic views of the town and mountains. The green house serves as a charming candle-lit dining area for ten, complete with heated floors and powder room. The large Mexican barbecue, ice machine, fireplaces and fully stocked cupboards are always ready for your private fiesta!

San Miguel Allende is a family oriented town and lively artists’ community. The cultural scene offers jazz, cabaret and chamber music, as well as dance, film, theater and a wealth of festive social gatherings.
