Villa Igea

Situated amid tranquil olive gardens and vineyards and perched atop a magnificent hilltop in northwest Lucca, Villa Igea boasts stunning views of the rolling hills and Tuscan countryside. The lush, manicured garden surrounds the villa. An oak tree provides shade and is an ideal place for alfresco dining. The private swimming pool is close to the oak tree. Lounge chairs line the pool area.

The villa dates back to the 16th century and has been recently restored by updating the design while carefully maintaining the original architecture. The villa comfortably accommodates up to 13 guests. The ground floor of the main villa includes a comfortable sitting room with fireplace that opens onto the garden, a formal dining room, a modern, well-equipped kitchen that opens to the conservatory, an additional sitting room with a television, a breakfast room opening to the outdoor dining area, and two twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. 

The first floor has two twin bedrooms with private bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a sitting and dressing room. The guest house provides a small kitchen and dining room, sitting room and three bedrooms with private bathrooms. It also has office facilities, such as a computer and high-speed Internet service.

This lovely Italian villa includes a maid who tends to the housework five hours per day, five days a week. The villa is a great base for exploring. Beaches that are only 25 kilometers away and fine shops and restaurants can be found in the nearby village of San Martino in Freddana.
