Villa Controni is a luxurious and aristocratic property set on a terraced hillside of olive groves. This 19th-century villa offers its own private chapel, ancient olive press and absolutely stunning views of the pristine countryside and the hilltop village of Lucca. In the front of the home, guests can enjoy an authentic Italianate garden, and to the rear is a stunning walled garden, which hosts the private swimming pool and relaxing sun lounge. A shaded loggia overlooks the camellia garden and is a perfect for alfresco dining under the stars.
The luxury vacation rental in Italy can accommodate up to 22 guests. It boasts a grand banquet room, billiard room, wine-tasting room and cellar, drawing room and formal living room with satellite television and fireplace. There is also a fully equipped Tuscan-style kitchen, a beautiful outdoor dining area and an office area with Internet-equipped computer and fax machine. Villa Controni offers 11 frescoed bedroom suites with en suite bathrooms.
The villa has a well-trained staff on hand to look after guest needs. It includes three housekeepers, a gardener, a pool keeper, an English-speaking concierge and a chef/manager, who provides a continental breakfast buffet each morning and handles the grocery shopping. For an additional fee, the chef is available to cook lunches and dinners.
