Villa Allegra

Villa Allegra is a charming villa nestled in the Tuscan hillside near the village of Sovicille.  Guests appreciate lovely views of the surrounding vineyards. The villa is located close to a forest with meandering pathways; ideal for morning strolls. In the fall, these woods offer the opportunity to engage in mushroom hunting. The villa is conveniently located within easy reach of Siena, San Gimignano and Florence. A short fifteen minute ride takes guests to the tennis courts at Borgo Pretale. Il Cannuccio, which is only twenty minutes away, offers horseback riding.

The villa’s pool area overlooks the surrounding vineyards and hillside. Day beds adorn the pool deck. An outdoor patio allows guests to dine al fresco while they enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. The villa’s spacious terrace has comfortable furniture for lounging while umbrellas provide shade.

Villa Allegra features a main villa with an independent wing, known as the Ginestra wing, and a guest house, known as the Vigna guest house. Built in typical Tuscan style, the villa is embellished with wood beamed ceilings and local stone walls. The interiors are decorated with an array of antiques.  

The ground floor of the main villa has a drawing room with a fireplace and an entertainment center.  The spacious fully equipped kitchen has an area for dining which leads to the outdoor patio. The first floor has a large living room with a game table. 

The main villa has two bedrooms. One has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and the other has a queen sized bed with a private bathroom and dressing room.

The Ginestra wing has another two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have separate entrances. The Junior Suite has a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The room also features a kitchenette with a breakfast table. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom. This room has direct access to the roof terrace.

The Vigna guest house features a living room with a dining area and a kitchenette. Two bedrooms can be found here. The Junior Suite has a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom and the other bedroom, also with a queen sized bed, has a private bathroom. The guest house has a private patio.
