Description
Borgo Mora is a private estate of more than 2,470 acres in one of the most beautiful areas of Chianti. The five villas and four suites have undergone an exquisite renovation and offer great charm and comfort for anywhere from one to 44 guests. Next to the areas used by guests for socializing and entertainment, are a number of paths, created on the model of the footpaths of the towns of the Valdarno. The paths provide access to four suites located around the courtyard with portico: Le Dame Suites - Borgo Mora.
The names of these "Dame" suites pay homage to the female characters who have dominated the family history of the place: Donna Olimpia Pucci Boncamj della Genga, Donna Maria Piccolomini, Donna Luisa Caetani and Donna Matilde Visconti di Modrone. Each suite acts as an integrated whole, providing a bedroom, living area and bathroom. The suites are ideal for short stays and have a lovely ambience, with their paintings and antique furniture mixed with modern comforts and featuring the work of famous architect, Maurizio Montani della Fargna.
For a truly relaxing Italian villa experience, guests have access to a shared swimming pool. Each suite contains a mini-bar and receives maid service. Guests can enjoy various common areas, such as the library, theater, wine bar and billiard room, as well as sport facilities. Please note that some common areas require prior reservation and include separate fees. Morga Borga features its own restaurant, where guests may reserve and dine. Meals are prepared with use of the farms own organice produce and award winning olive oils. Also by private arrangement, guests may sample local Chianti area wines and grappas in the lovely wine cellar and tasting room.
