Description
La Maccinaia is a beautiful property located in a very quiet location in the heart of the Chianti region. The main villa dates from the 17th century and has been immaculately restored by its Belgian owner, who has combined modern design with original Tuscan architecture. Guests have the option of renting either the Main House separately, or the Main House in conjunction with the lovely Guest House, for a total of eight bedrooms.
One of the most welcoming of Tuscany villas, the property has all the modern comforts, including air conditioning (except on the ground floor), high-speed Internet connection and satellite television. Wonderful views can be enjoyed, especially from the guest house terrace and pool area. On the ground floor, guests will find the dining room, fully equipped kitchen opening to outdoor eating area and washroom. The The first floor includes a study, a sitting room, and a television room.
There are a total of eight bedrooms at La Maccinaia. Five of the bedrooms are located in the Main House; the remaining three bedrooms are situated in the Guest House. In the main house, the first bedroom is a lofted suite with twin beds, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower; this bedroom can accommodate four to six guests. The second bedroom is fitted with a double bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom - the master bedroom, is fitted with a double bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. The fourth and fifth bedrooms in the Main House are each fitted with double beds and en-suite showers; these two bedrooms share a water closet. The remaining three bedrooms are located in the Guest House. The sixth bedroom is fitted with twin beds, and the seventh bedroom is fitted with bunk beds and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. The eighth bedroom is fitted with a double bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Maid service is included three hours a day, five days a week.
