Geggianello

Located on a hill overlooking the Tuscan countryside, Geggianello is a restored country home offering panoramic views of the surrounding hillside and Siena, a medieval walled city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The villa is surrounded by lush lawns, mature trees and vineyards  and is conveniently  situated only a fifteen minute drive away from tennis courts, dining venues and museums.  Famous Italian interior design magazines, such as “Casi di Campagna”, “La Cascina Toscana” and “Casa Vogue” have featured this stunning villa.

The villa features a large courtyard where the infinity edged swimming pool spills delicately down a rock wall. Guests can enjoy their favorite drink while relaxing on the surrounding decking, soothed by the sound of the pool’s waterfall. The villa’s furnished pool house is within easy reach. The villa also offers a pergola for al fresco dining.  The loggia on the upper floor offers panoramic views of Siena.

The charming stone walls, wood beamed ceilings and terracotta flooring  evoke traditional Tuscan charm throughout the villa. The spacious entrance hall on the ground floor invites guests into the villa and drawing room. The well-equipped kitchen can be found nearby. The kitchen has a petite breakfast area and has been decorated in typical country style. A few steps away is the unique dining room. This room features a wooden table under a striking brick archway. There is also a casual dining area with a fireplace and a guest bathroom on this floor.

The first floor provides a sitting area, opening to a terrace,  and a study as well as separate service quarters. The villa’s five bedrooms can also be found on this floor. The master suite has a king sized bed and offers “his” and “hers” bathrooms. Two bedrooms with two twin beds each, convertible to king sized beds, feature en suite bathrooms. The two remaining bedrooms provide queen sized beds;  one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with a private bathroom. All bathrooms feature lovely Italian marble.

Additional maid, babysitting, and laundry/ironing services are available at an additional cost. Cooking services by the on-site Florentine chef are available at an additional rate. All of these above services are by prior arrangement and must be paid locally. Cooking classes and cooking demonstrations are available at an additional rate and by prior arrangement.
