Fontanelle villa is located just outside the village of Montalcino, in an area known for its wines and beautiful scenery. It is surrounded by olive gardens, rolling hills and vineyards, creating a tranquil ambience. The villa has been magnificently restored by its owner, a well-known Italian interior designer, and has been featured in several noted magazines, such as House and Garden. Guests traveling with large parties can also rent the guest apartment. To the rear of the villa is the terrace and swimming pool, shaded by large cypress trees.
The interiors of the Italy vacation rental are painted and furnished throughout with warm yellow and terracotta colors, and have brick floors, creating an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. On the ground floor, the vaulted living room with fireplace opens to the shaded and furnished terrace, where guests can dine alfresco. There is a formal dining area indoors, as well as a kitchen. In a separate wing, guests find a sitting room and, accessible by a staircase, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The first floor includes two double bedrooms with king-size four-poster beds and en-suite bathrooms; a sitting room with TV, fireplace and sofa bed; a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom; and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is separate outbuilding, about 50 meters from the main house. This guest house has a total of three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people. It is available on request, at extra cost.
A maid provides cleaning services three hours a day, five days a week. There are also laundry facilities that guests can use. Visitors can spend their time at this Tuscany Italy vacation villa lounging by and cooling off in the swimming pool, or they can venture out to the village of Montalcino, just nine kilometers away.
