This is a beautiful farmhouse situated high in the hills northeast of Lucca, above the village of Marlia. From the property, there are spectacular views over the surrounding countryside, with its olive groves, and also the most famous historical villas of Lucca, and their magnificent parks, on the plain below. These include villa Grabau and Villa Reale, where Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, Napoleon's sister and Princess of Lucca resided.
The stone-built house has been tastefully restored to a very high standard respecting Tuscan tradition, retaining the original beamed ceilings and using antique cotto floor tiles. The interiors have been furnished in a very attractive country-house style
A swimming pool has just been installed in the most panoramic location of the property.

First Floor: Sitting room with fireplace, opening onto a terrace with stairs leading to the garden; twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower); twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (walk-in shower); twin bedroom with 4-poster beds and small sitting area.
Second Floor: Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (walk-in shower), small sitting room, pantry.

Policies
Payment Policy: A 30% deposit is required as soon as possible to confirm your reservation. Balance of payment is due no later than 75 days prior to travel. Reservations made within 75 days of travel may incur an administrative fee.
Cancellation Policy: All payments are non-refundable. Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
Security Deposit Policy: A security / telephone deposit is payable upon arrival at your villa. The deposit, less any appropriate charges, is refunded upon check-out from your villa. Payment must be made in USD cash, USD travellers checks, or Euro cash. If the villa has an outgoing telephone you will be asked for an additional deposit of 250 Euro or equivilent in USD cash or USD travellers checks.
