Villa Piazzetta

A small town with no more than 500 in its population, Portofino became well known in the 1960s when the rich and famous descended upon it to enjoy exclusive parties, breathtaking views and the "dolce vita" or sweet life.

With over 4000 square feet (400 square meters) of living space, the home is elegant and artistic with exquisitely appointed furnishings. Offering total privacy and seclusion, yet close walking distance to the center of town, the villa has amazing views of the Tyrrhennian Sea and, at night, twinkling lights of Portofino's pretty port. To access the property, guests go through a 200 meter tunnel that has been bored into the sea rock of Portofino. At the end of the tunnel there is a lift that brings visitors to the entrance gate 80 meters above.

On the first floor, guests will find a sitting room, the dining room and a spacious master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Through French doors, there is a wide terrace. The second floor is the ground floor and the remaining four bedrooms are to be found there, each opening directly out into the lovely garden. Three of these bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms and the fourth has a private bathroom just outside the bedroom. More bedrooms, are found on the third floor. The villa offers four different outdoor dining areas, a large L Shaped free form swimming pool, a bar carved out of rock and set into its natural surroundings, a vine covered gazebo, comfortable outdoor furnishings and panoramic vistas.
