Description
Villa Adriana is a fabulous property nestled on the western side of Lake Maggiore in the beautiful park of Lagoni di Mercurago. The estate, especially in its garden, enjoys magnificent views of the lake and the medieval fortress of Angera on the opposite shore. Designed by a famous architect in the 1960s, Villa Adriana has been renovated and refurbished in a modern style. The interiors are spacious and light, with tasteful and comfortable furnishings.
One of the most distinctive of the Lakes District villas, the house has been featured in several architectural design publications. It consists of a main circular section, containing a very large sitting room that was once a dance hall, and two wings with identical hallways leading to a large dining room and the bedroom area. The result is a house with a spectacular structure in the shape of an airplane. The main area of the house includes the sitting room, dining room, study, large kitchen, guest bathroom, and covered patio furnished for alfresco dining.
The Left Wing of one of the unique Italy villas has a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a double bedroom and twin bedroom sharing a bathroom. In the Right Wing, guests will find a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a double bedroom and twin bedroom sharing a bathroom. Maid service is included 10 hours a week.
