Description
Only a short walk from the center of Capri and the main square, or Piazzetta, is Villa Il Fortino. This lovely villa can only be accessed by foot, thereby avoiding the loud sounds of traffic. The villa sits on approximately 13,000 square feet of land and has stunning views of the Marina Piccola Bay and the town of Capri.
The outdoor areas are terraced down four levels, each with colorful and scented flowers. Terraces offer lovely views from different angles. Garden spots offer lounging areas and coffee tables perfect to enjoy a relaxing morning in the shade with your favorite book. A pool deck surrounded by grass is located on one of the top levels.
Paintings by German artist Diefenbach can be found in the living room on the ground floor. This room hosts a fireplace, two comfortable couches, antique wood furniture and a glass coffee table with a wrought iron frame. The living room opens up to a dining room, seating up to 8 people, and the fully equipped kitchen.
Five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are located on the main floor. One of the bedrooms is a twin bedroom with a built-in closet. The first double bedroom faces the sea. The second double bedroom has a built-in closet and the third bedroom offers lovely sea views. A master bedroom can also be found on this floor. This bedroom offers a small private terrace.
The second floor provides access to outdoor spaces, where you can find a dining area perfect for a romantic dinner, hammock benches and lounge chairs. The swimming pool can also be reached from this floor.
