Nestled in the splendid Sorrento peninsula, Terranova, modern and elegant, lies on the Sorrento side of the Sorrento peninsula, enjoying the splendid panorama of the Gulf of Sorrento and only minutes away from the main town. The property is located on a wooden hill, just along a road from the Sorrento Coast about five km from the center of Sorrento. Terranova boasts a quiet position so that one can take advantage of total relaxation and quiet. Accessible by five large French doors opening from the terrace in front of the house and leading into one large living room, the ground floor is divided by an arch shaped opening onto a separate lounge and dining area. The lounge is furnished with a large comfortable sofa with cushions, a large wooden table, and a beautiful fireplace surrounded by decorative antique tiles. The property also features a fabulous spa with a Turkish bath and a Jacuzzi. The entire spa area is encompassed by mosaic tiles. The top floor hosts a large heated Jacuzzi whirl pool, and an arch shaped window leads directly out onto the terrace. The spa is equipped with bathrobes, towels, slippers, soaps.
The living room boasts a 50-inch, flat screen TV and a full Bose stereo system with CD and DVD player, full Bose stereo system. A small studio corner with desk and computer with wireless internet connection is also accessible from the living room. The dining area is connected to the living room and boasts a large dining table that can seat up to eight people. The modern and fully equipped kitchen boasts a 4-range gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, electrical espresso and American coffee machine. The first floor of the house holds the four comfortable and inviting bedrooms with three double and one twin bedded room. They are all furnished similarly, in a minimalist style, each in a different colour theme, they are full of light and enjoy high ceilings and whitewashed walls, sliding doors, and ceramic tile floors. Each bedroom also hosts a private bath, heating, air conditioning, and 20-inch, plasma satellite TV.
The roof deck boasts a beautifully panoramic pool with hydro-massage and offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean. The pool is set on a nice wood terrace equipped for sunbathing and enjoys four thick cushions to lay and relax on while lounging by the pool. As well, there is a large terrace with a barbeque alongside built-in benches, tables with chairs, and umbrellas. There is a 4 hour daily maid service in the morning included in the price. Extra staff, including a chef and personal trainer, are available upon request. The villa is set in an oasis of tranquility, but one can still enjoy the lively life of Sorrento, only a 15-minute drive away.
