Perched on the cliff front in Nusa Dua Hills, Villa Kubu is one of the three private villas which comprises the Heavenly Residence. This beachfront four bedroom air-conditioned property is located just five minutes from the world famous Nusa Dua Golf Club, the villa's location makes it feel as if the guest is in a precious world all of their own; privacy, peacefulness, serenity, and above all, luxury. The four bedroom Villa Kubu is the largest of the Heavenly Residence. An architectural marvel in itself, the villa is set in steps cascading down from the cliff, like paddy terraces, and is named after the involuntary gasps of surprise made by those who come across this wondrous luxury villa for the first time. 7,534 square feet offers the guest supreme space and great comfort. The views are nothing short of spectacular; it would appear as if the Indian Ocean has been laid at one's feet.
The twenty seven foot long infinity-edge pool is the centerpiece of this oasis, adjoined to a ironwood sundeck, complete with a 'bale' and a lawn, offering equally splendid views of the ocean. Step inside, and the interiors are nothing short of splendid. Acid washed marble flooring flows through the villa, which is filled with woven rattan and sea grass furnishings. Thai silk of various colours are used to denote different areas of the villa: bronze for the game room; charcoal grey for the dining room, and blue for the living room. The interior also contains thoughtful touches of Balinese culture, reflected in the artwork found throughout. Some of the amenities to be enjoyed at Villa Kubu include a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, complimentary Wifi high speed internet connection, a state of the art home theatre system, inclusive of a 42 inch plasma television, complimentary DVD and VCD and magazine library, an outdoor barbeque grill, access to the property's spa and wellness center, and an electronic surveillance security system.
