Description
Drakothea villa is a charming, traditional Greek property overlooking Dragonissi Island and peaceful Lia Bay. Its design reflects the Mykonian country style, with its relaxed elegance and comfort. An impressive infinity lap pool features bare rock edges. Numerous plants, flowers and cacti surround this majestic estate. The villa includes an alfresco dining area, equipped with a barbecue-oven. It is ideal for entertaining while enjoying endless sea views.
The villa features beautiful antiques and unique accents in its attractive living areas. Textured white walls and hallways carved into stone are dramatic flourishes. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. Adjacent, the formal dining room is furnished in a chic but simple style. Sheer, white drapes flow gracefully to separate this room from the entrance. The relaxed sitting room, round and carved from stone, has many antique objects and art pieces, as well as a television and stereo concealed behind an antique wooden door. A fireplace provides warmth. The living areas open to an expansive terrace and pergola shaped outdoor dining area. There is an additional shower bathroom for guest use near the living areas.
Each of the main villa's three bedrooms boasts a private balcony or terrace with stunning views as well as a fireplace. The master bedroom on the upper floor contains a king sized bed and dressing area, and its en-suite bathroom has a dome ceiling with small colored skylights.The effect is spectacular. The second master bedroom is on the lower level and features a king sized bed, dressing area and en-suite bathroom. The third upper level bedrooom hosts a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom, with queen sized bed en-suite bathroom is found in the guest house.
Amenities include an audio system, wireless Internet access, satellite television and DVD player. Maid service is provided two hours a day.
