Description
Situated at the edge of Almirida, a fishing village on the Greek island of Crete is the lovely Almyra Residence. Thanks to its location, this three bedroom villa enjoys stunning views of the Aegean, the sea and the White Mountains. This villa is only 100 meters away from the beach and is one of the three luxury villas that comprise SK Place. Almyra Residence was designed by its owner-architect to reflect a modern minimalistic style.
The large infinity edged pool is conveniently cradled in the middle of a manicured lawn overlooking the sea. The pool’s wooden deck practically merges into the water giving it the impression of floating. The deck is decorated with lounge chairs and an umbrella where guests can relax and let their worries drift away. The nearby steel and wood pergola is a great place for entertaining in the evenings.
The villa’s 3 terraced levels give it an interesting design. Each floor accentuates the villa’s style with wooden floorings, natural stone, stainless steel and soothing tones of white and gray. The open concept living area on the first floor opens up on to the pool terrace though glass doors providing seamless indoor-outdoor living. This living area flows gracefully into the fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
The ground floor can be accessed down a few steps. There is a bedroom with twin beds that can be converted into a king sized bed if needed. This floor is dedicated to health and wellness; a mini gym, spa bathroom and a haman steam room can be found here.
The top level of the villa features two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other two twin sized beds that can be transformed into a king sized bed. Both rooms have balconies and en-suite bathrooms.
Alymra Residence, a private retreat, sits in the unspoiled countryside of northwest Crete, noted for its wildlife, herbs, olive trees, wild flowers, citrus groves and fresh produce and is only steps away from beaches and marina. The village is only a ten minute walk away and has fine dining venues and taverns. Your Greek adventure is about to begin.
