Chateau de Tourreau is a stunning vacation home in Provence, within easy reach of the gorgeous towns of Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and St. Remy. The air-conditioned chateau, with a history that goes back 300 years, is set upon 17 beautiful acres of gardens, orchards and lush parkland, and offers more than 850 square meters of luxurious living space in the main house alone. There is also a beautifully restored 950-square-meter farm house that that can accommodate 14, so that Chateau de Tourreau can comfortably host 32 guests at a time. Other highlights include an exquisite 17th-century chapel, a private swimming pool and floodlit tennis and basketball courts.
This Provence, France holiday villa is ideal for large families or groups. Its interiors are designed with a European and Oriental theme and feature spectacular antique furnishings. On the ground floor, the Grand Salon leads into the Oval Salon and the Peacock Salon, and then on to the formal dining room. The main kitchen, informal dining area, and first master bedroom suite are also located on this level. Upstairs, on the first floor, are the library and two additional master suites. The second floor houses the additional five bedrooms. The farm house includes the Provencal Salon, dining room, game room, kitchen, seven bedrooms and a beautifully cloistered courtyard. The squash court and gym have a bar area with ice machine. All bedrooms include en-suite bathrooms.
Chateau de Tourreau is a spectacular villa vacation home in Provence that offers some of the best amenities in the region. The dedicated staff is always on hand to assist guests, including a gourmet chef, gardeners and a minimum of two housekeepers. Guests also have the option of hiring a multilingual estate "personal assistant and guide," who can provide services ranging from planning activities and excursions to familiarizing visitors with all the features of the property. Guests can enjoy the active life here, with tennis and basketball courts, swimming pool, fitness center and activities such as croquet, volleyball and badminton.
