Description
Villa les Vignes is an artfully restored tri-level house on the edge of Gordes, a beautiful old village with cobblestone streets and a twelfth century castle. This spectacular villa faces south and offers magnificent views of the Luberon valley. Newly renovated, this fantastic home features flagstone floors, arches and staircases all cut from local limestone and is equipped with a host of elegant furnishings and lovely modern amenities.
In the beautifully landscaped garden is a large heated swimming pool, with a furnished deck, perfect for relaxing under an olive tree or soaking in the sun. Adjacent to the pool is a fully equipped summer kitchen and dining area, as well as an outdoor bathroom.
The living room is located on the entrance level, as are the dining area and professionally equipped stainless steel kitchen, with a walk out to the garden and the pool. The villa has five dining areas, to suit your mood and the weather, and all of the terraces are perfect places to have a cappuccino and enjoy the views. If you prefer to do your viewing indoors, there is a home theatre system, with a plasma television.
Up a few stone steps from the entrance level is the kitchen, sitting room and dining area of the penthouse apartment. Off this room is the larger of the two dining terraces, and above it, the air conditioned penthouse bedroom with a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and dressing room.
Four bedrooms, all with full en-suite bathrooms, cascade down from the living area.
The air conditioned master bedroom is decorated with a Moroccan flair, and contains a king size bed as well as a sitting area. A stone staircase descends to the second bedroom, which boasts a king size bed and sitting area. More stone stairs lead to the third bedroom with two twin beds, that can be pushed together to form a European king. Down the last few stairs is the fourth bedroom, with a king size bed and a door into the garden. Also on this located level is a lovely, well stocked wine cellar. Help yourself to the wine, make note of it, and settle up before you leave.
