Description
Casa Mono Loco is a private villa located on the grounds of the Los Sueños Resort and Marina. Its guests enjoy the comfort and privacy of a luxury villa rental, with full access to all of the amenities and privileges that this impressive coastal resort has to offer.
Designed by renowned architect Ronald Zurcher, whose work also includes the lovely Four Seasons Papagayo hotel, Casa Mono Loco is set on a peaceful mountainside, inside a nature preserve. The home offers spectacular, dramatic views of Herradura Bay and the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
The open design of the villa allows guests to observe lovely toucans, scarlet macaws and monkeys; to experience the other sights and sounds of the tropical rainforest from the comfort of their own private villa. The living and dining area is set beneath a soaring palapa roof, while the open air terrace provides unbelievable views of the gorgeous natural surroundings.
All three of the villa's air-conditioned bedrooms feature private en-suite bathrooms and ocean views. The master suite, which boasts a king-sized bed, is set in a separate pavilion that offers maximum privacy. The Dome Room bedroom with its dramatic domed ceiling and the equally impressive Coral Room contain two double beds each.
Los Sueños Resort & Marina is a family friendly destination that offers something for everyone, including even the smallest visitors. The facility boasts a 200-slip international marina, private beach club with fountains and an extensive free-form pool with swim-up bar, not to mention showers and changing facilities.
A challenging par-72, 18-hole eco-golf course designed by Ted Robinson, Jr. sits behind the four-star Marriott Hotel, which is home to six individual restaurants. The resort contains tennis courts, a gymnasium and a Marina Village that includes shops, galleries, bars and restaurants. The property is also home to a 600-hundred acre tropical rain forest preserve
