Description
Description
Antigua is the largest of the British Leeward Islands—14 miles long by 11 miles wide. Its coastline is irregular, with hundreds of small coves and bays, yielding more than 365 excellent sugar-sand beaches.
Antigua is rich in history. At one time, more than 150 18th-century sugar mills dotted the island. Almost 100 of these historical stone towers still stand today. The evocative historical district of English Harbour offers the fully restored Horatio Nelson's Dockyard, the only Georgian dockyard in the world.
Antigua provides the sophisticated modern traveler a relaxed tropical mélange of palm trees, wonderful restaurants with gourmet fare, fascinating historical sites and hundreds of beautiful white-sand beaches.
LaCURE luxury villas in Antigua are primarily nestled on lush tropical hillsides and offer private swimming pools with stunning ocean views. Many lovely beaches are located just minutes from your villa, ready for endless exploration and discovery.
The properties are ideal for families, couples and anyone who wants spectacular beachside accommodations. Unlike big resorts and hotels, they let you have the beach to yourself, to experience a tranquil, relaxing vacation surrounded only by sand and surf.
Our villas are either in the heart of the action, or completely secluded. Some are perched atop cliffs, with stunning views of the coast, and some are located right on the island's best beaches. Many are found in the island's most picturesque coves and bays, including Emerald Cove, Freemans Bay and Dian Bay. Most of our Antigua villa rentals feature their own swimming pools, for cooling dips whenever you please. You can also enjoy romantic dinners at sunset, alfresco style, on a private patio or deck.
Sailing is something that no visitor to Antigua should miss. Whether you want to hop on a sailing boat with a sailing instructor or watch an international boat race, you'll be able to enjoy some of the world's finest boating events and facilities here.
