Description
The Mullins Mill villa is a unique house of character and historical interest dating back to 1690. Built around an old sugar mill, the house is set on a ridge on five acres of lush West Coast tropical gardens, a quarter-mile from the Caribbean Sea. The main house includes a large terrace, a dining room which seats twelve in comfort, a small study, a kitchen and butler's pantry. Gibb's Beach is a short five-minute drive away where guests have use of the fully equipped private beach cottage. A ridge side swimming pool house and jacuzzi, a floodlit tennis court and a fully equipped private beach house are part of the property.
The Mullins Mill upper level has a large verandah, a circular sitting room, and a master bedroom with a spacious bathroom, dressing room, and private verandah. A very pretty circular double bedroom with its own bathroom is located in the sugar mill tower. Two smaller bedrooms are each fitted with twin beds. This Barbados Villa estate has actually two separate homes. The main house is enhanced with a guesthouse that contains two bedrooms that has been designed for possible accommodations to include teenagers, children or nannies. These bedrooms are each with an en-suite bathroom and private verandah. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans and some are air-conditioned. A great place for extended families, friends or just a place to spread out.
This Caribbean Villa offers some exceptional amenities not found in other Barbados rentals. Something to add a little fun and sun to the stay includes the use of the owners' 17-foot Fletcher ski boat with 175 hp outboard engine equipped for water skiing and towing inflatable rides. Rental rates at Mullins Mill include the use of the speedboat. Please note the cost of oil and petrol is additional. A game of tennis or a game of golf can be arranged at Sandy Lane, twenty minutes away. Spa facilities are available at Suga Suga Spa, a three minute drive down the hill. These amenities set the stage for a fabulous vacation to be experienced by all ages.
