Harmony House is lucky enough to occupy a prime beachfront space directly on the beautiful Gibbs Beach in St. Peter. St. Peter beach boasts of an air of calm and coolness when compared to other beaches on the island of Barbados. This absolutely fabulous villa is constructed in coral stone with Dutch-style gables. The vacation home property underwent renovations in 2004 to further enhance the living and dining areas and master bedroom. Harmony House is nestled in a lush and very private tropical garden and is a popular choice as its size can accommodate a couple or a small family group. The entrance courtyard will welcome unequivocally into a world of tropical greenery. Set amongst the lush greenery is also an inviting swimming pool and surrounding pool deck fully furnished with loungers, tables for al fresco dining and a built in bar.
Harmony House's ambience is light and charming with the combination of whitewashed walls and bleached woodwork with local coral stone. Custom Barbadian furniture is scattered throughout the home and seem to say join me as it is comfortable and inviting. On the first floor you will find a living room, dining room and sitting area, all expertly decorated. Harmony House offers a well-equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms are air-conditioned, have ceiling fans, private en-suite bathrooms and balconies. One bedroom is on the main level and two bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom comes fitted with a king size beds while the remaining two bedrooms have twin beds which can be converted to king size if desired. Instantly the comfort of home is amidst your surroundings.
The staff at Harmony House consists of a excellent cook, maid/laundress, and a night watchman. Garden & pool service is also maintained. Pampering and constant care is guaranteed. While the cook will prepare any requests, please allow her to treat to a culinary delight native to this region. The Harmony House is close to nightlife, restaurants and the fun and exciting nightlife of the island. A place to come and leave all worries behind, where Calypso music and high tea often are shared traditions, incredible sun, snorkeling and relaxing, a place to be pampered, it will be difficult to determine if one is in harmony or in heaven, the truth be known, its probably a mixture of both.
