Greensleeves

Greensleeves is  nestled within an 11-acre estate located on a point flanked by Gibbs Bay and Reeds Bay on the famed west coast of Barbados.  This privileged location takes advantage of beach and ocean views as well as the tropical breezes.  In addition, two white sand beaches sit on either side of the point and a colorful reef lies offshore directly in front of the villas, providing for amazing snorkeling opportunities in calm, clear waters.   The villa sleeps up to 22 adults.   Up to 30 guests may be accommodated via the additional rental of the four bedroom Blue Point villa, also within the estate grounds.

The entrance to the main living areas is accessed through Molgolian Temple doors which lead to Oriental water gardens and a Koi pond.  Teak walkways and bridges  lead through the garden to the main house and connect the living areas to the bedroom suites, the children's wing, gym, home cinema, and to the outdoor dining room.  The spacious living areas, crowned by domed tropical ceilings, and graced with comfortable Indonisian inspired furnishings, open fully to the outdoors.  Living areas include the living room, fully equipped kitchen, and indoor dining.  The estate even offers a home theatre equipped with reclining seats, a large screen and surround sound, and an air conditioned gym! The park in front of the house offers a a lily pond and lighted tennis court, sports field, and various pathways for relaxing strolls.

Three bedroom suites in the main house offer king sized beds and en-suite double vanity bathrooms.  The guest cottage offers a bedroom with two twin beds convertible to a king bed, and a bedroom with a queen sized bed, and both offer private double vanity bathrooms. The children's wing provides a nanny's bedroom with a twin bed and en-suite bathroom.  Additionally, the children's wing features one bedroom with a King sized bed, two bunk beds and two twin beds, and another with a twin bed and double bed.  The two children's rooms share a bathroom with child sized tub and shower.  The children's wing also offers a separate kitchen, outdoor dining, a jungle gym, and craft table.  All bedrooms are air conditioned and feature terraces surrounded by lush vegetation.

Greensleeves is fully staffed, including chef, butler, security guards and housekeeping.  Although guests may never want to leave the grounds or adjacent beaches, golf at Royal Westmoreland or Sandy Lane Hotel and a full range of watersports activities are close by.  One of the most luxurious private villas in the Caribbean, designed by the renowned Caribbean architect Ian Morrison, Greensleeves brings the tranquility and top class service of the Far East to the beachfront beauty of Barbados.
