Description
The Fustic House Villa is a favorite in all the Caribbean. This exceedingly charming home is set on an exclusive ten acre private estate of carefully tended lawns and lush tropical gardens. The location on a private ridge is a ten minute walk to the beach and affords truly panoramic views of the island and of the sea. This incredible vacation home offers three pavilions to its guests. The private swimming pool is magically set in the grotto of an exotic garden. The extensive lawns and gardens lead to a small private lake with an island. A picturesque orchid walk is above the Tropical Ravine which spans the west side of the estate, above the Caribbean sea.
This Barbados Villas main rental house and The Messel Wing are both the work of Oliver Messel and they infuse the property with great character and style. The Fustic House Villa has inviting interiors and are an enchanting mix of upholstered English traditional pieces set with rattans and Colonial antiques, and open through French doors and arched columns to romantic loggias and terraces which are equally well furnished. The master bedroom suite and one guest bedroom suite are in the main house. The master bedroom offers French doors opening to two private covered terraces. The Messel Wing offers both an upper guest suite and a lower guest suite. The Plantation Wing offers two guest bedroom suites. All bedrooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, and complete with air-conditioning and en-suite baths.
The staff at Fustic House Villa includes house manager, butler, chef, cook, four housekeepers, three gardeners, and three security guards. The service is gracious and not intrusive. For added experience, there is a library in the main house and a games room, and also for those who just can't escape work, e-mail facilities in the Plantation Wing. Please note that ten minute walk to the beach is sometimes steep and may be difficult for some guests.
