Description
The Buttsbury Court Villa is a beautiful home situated on the bend of the Polo Field in St. James. The true beauty of the surrounding Holders Plantation can be experienced in the comfort of this home. An acre of flourishing gardens with exceptional views of the Caribbean are there for guests to explore. Constructed under the guidance of architect, Ian Morrison, the estate has been immaculately maintained, and comprises of a main villa and a quaint independent one-bedroom cottage set within gated lush tropical grounds. Clay tiles grace the rooflines of Buttsbury Court accented in white with large pillars and vaulted beam ceilings. On the grounds of this lovely vacation villa is a private Astroturf tennis court. Another attraction of this dazzling and breezy property is a Jacuzzi and large swimming pool.
The interiors of the Buttsbury Court villa offer a formal collective living and dining room furnished in a traditional style with antique replicas set on terra cotta tiled floors. The living and dining rooms open to the private tennis court with viewing area. The master bedroom, which overlooks the beautiful swimming pool from a second story, is air-conditioned, with dressing room, a fantastic marble bathroom with separate shower, and a secluded balcony surrounded by tropical flowers. On the pool level, four air-conditioned double bedrooms, with marble bathrooms and ample storage are set. One bedroom also includes a single bed nursery or nanny's room, not available in many Barbados villas. A one-bedroom cottage provides privacy and solitude. On the sea side, is an immense comfortable sitting room with picture windows to surround the splendid view, ensuring guests a cool tropical breeze.
The Buttsbury Court Villa boasts an inviting media room, an air-conditioned private study, which can double as a bedroom, and a large verandah, with an electric awning to provide a harbor from the sun. This property offers guests of large groups the option of renting the main house, and an adjacent property, providing a total of eight bedrooms, one large private swimming pool, one private plunge pool and a private tennis court. A cook and staff attend to every need and work 6 days a week. Breakfast is served around 9:00 am, Lunch at 1:00 pm and Dinner at 7:00 pm. Evening security staff is available at an additional charge and by prior arrangement. The ultimate in Caribbean villas and meant to be supremely enjoyed by all.
