Description
The Altamer Russian Amethyst is a spacious villa on the beach on the grounds of the Altamer Resort at Shoal Bay West. Soaring forty feet above the terrain, a rooftop patio offers stunning views of Saba to the southwest, east to St. Barts, and north to the Atlantic.
The contemporary architecture of this multilevel villa makes maximum use of glass for views. The large living room boasts 21' ceilings. The formal dining room overlooks the beach and seats ten. Furnishings are colorful, custom designed and comfortable. The upper levels are reached either via stairs or by the elevator. A fifty foot glass skywalk crosses the second level.
The master bedroom suite with king sized bed features an attached fourth floor balcony, with wet bar and office, and ensuite-bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Each of the four guest bedrooms also offers king sized beds and en-suite bathrooms and each provides floor-to-ceiling sea views.
The swimming pool is located beachside on an expansive furnished terrace with outdoor dining facilities. A hammock shaded by the skywalk invites slumbering, and just steps from the terrace, seating is arranged on the beach under swaying palms.
