Seasons of Travel
Each property offered by LaCURE has nightly rates that vary throughout the year, depending on the Season. In the Caribbean most High Season rates are in effect from December 15 until April 16 with the remainder of the year being the Low Season. In Mexico the High Season for Puerto Vallarta is in effect November 1 through April 30 and in Acapulco the High Season begins December 15. Most villas also experience a higher rate during the Christmas and New Years holiday season.

In Europe High Season is generally the months of July and August, with spring, early summer, and autumn being increasingly popular "shoulder seasons".

Length of Stay
In the Caribbean and Mexico most villas demand a seven night minimum rental during High Season and a five night minimum rental during Low Season. You are always able to book for more than the minimum number of nights. During the Christmas and New Years holidays the minimum rentals increase to between ten and fourteen nights. LaCURE VILLA can sometimes arrange exceptions to these parameters and we encourage you to contact a LaCURE Villa Consultants for assistance.

In Europe our Villa rentals generally must begin and end on a Saturday and reservations are in increments of one week.

Large Groups
Some family vacations, family reunions, and Corporate Groups consist of a greater number of guests than can be accommodated in one villa. LaCURE Villas Consultants are aware of which destinations offer a selection of villas that are within close proximity of each other. Please consult with LaCURE so we may direct you to the most appropriate destinations and specific properties.

Villa Rental Costs
The price of LaCURE Villa rentals as posted on our website are per night and are for the entire villa unless otherwise indicated, and are not per person. The occupancy of our villas is based on two persons per bedroom unless other arrangements have been confirmed by LaCURE. Please note that all prices and details are subject to change and confirmation at time of booking.

Taxes & Service Charges
Many destinations require a mandatory government tax, which can vary from 7% to 17% and some villas require a mandatory service charge that can vary from 10% to 15%. These charges are noted in the pricing information for each specific property. These charges will appear on your invoice and must be prepaid to LaCURE along with the rental fee.

Security & Telephone Deposits
Some villas demand the prepayment of a security deposit. Security Deposits are fully refundable, less appropriate charges, and are usually refunded within 30-60 days of your return. Some villas demand the prepayment of a telephone deposit if you wish long distance calls billed directly to the villa. In these cases, please note that refunds may take 3-4 months due to the delayed billing schedules of the local telephone company. We strongly suggest that long distance calls be placed on our major calling card for convenience and savings.

At some villas in Europe it is possible to pay the security deposit upon arrival and receive the refund at time of departure.

Gratuity
Leaving gratuity for the staff at your villa is as appropriate as leaving gratuity at a restaurant. For villas with full staff LaCURE generally recommends a total gratuity of 10% in high season and 15% in low season. For properties that include maid service only we recommend a 5% gratuity. Of course gratuity is at the guests discretion and should be commensurate with the level of services received.

Payments
When confirming your reservation be prepared to make an immediate 30% - 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. Failure to remit deposit in a timely manner may result in cancellation. Final payments are due 45-90 days prior to travel and failure to make final payment in a timely manner may result in cancellation and fiscal penalty as specified on your invoice.

Reservations confirmed for travel within 45 days can only be confirmed by our receipt of funds by wire transfers or certified check.

Cancellations
If you must cancel your reservation you are subject to the terms of cancellation as outlined on your invoice. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing. Cancellation penalties are mandatory and cannot be waived. We strongly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance coverage.

Food Costs
The costs of food and beverage are normally not included with your villa rental, even for those villas that include a cook or chef on staff. It is generally true that food costs will range between $275 - $300 per adult per week for three meals per day, depending on menu selection.

Transfers & Vehicle Rentals
Clients traveling to Mexico and the Caribbean are strongly encouraged to take the transfer services provided by LaCURE. Clients traveling to Europe drive themselves from the airport to their villa with the specific directions provided by LaCURE, although transfer services are available for all our European bound clients as well.

Additionally, we feel a vehicle rental is essential for villa guests in the Caribbean and Europe. While the private location of your villa is one reason you have chosen it, you will still want to explore the area, go shopping, and experience the local restaurants. Local taxi services in the Caribbean and Europe are frequently unreliable for villa guests for a variety of reasons. Therefore, please inquire of your villa consultant for assistance in arranging a car, jeep, or van rental.

For villa rentals in Mexico, LaCURE strongly recommends that clients do not rent vehicles. LaCURE can arrange a vehicle and driver for your entire stay. Alternatively, the houseman at your villa will be able to arrange a taxi or van with driver whenever the need arises.

Terms & Conditions
It is assumed that you have read the following General Conditions and Limitations of Liability and agree to each before making a reservation with LaCURE.

General Conditions :
LaCURE has taken all reasonable measures to ensure that the accommodations, car rental companies, transfer companies, and all other companies whose services are used in conjunction with our services are satisfactory. LaCURE emphasizes that you accept all reservations subject to the limitations of liability as well as terms and conditions of these suppliers. LaCURE has no control over these independent companies and therefore accepts no liability for any acts or omissions by them or their staff or their agents. Although LaCURE does not accept full liability for the actions or omissions of those independent companies over whom we have no control, reasonable assistance will be given in an attempt to resolve any dispute between our client and the independent company. LaCURE has made a good faith effort to accurately describe the accommodations but shall not be liable for any inaccuracies in such descriptions or changes in the conditions thereof, or for any temporary defects of stoppages in the supply of water, electricity, gas, or any other service.

Limitation of Liability:
LaCURE acts hereunder as agent for accommodations and maintains no control nor assumes responsibility over the equipment, facilities, operations, agents or employees of the owner of the accommodation and shall not be liable for any claim, loss, damage, cost of expense of any person occupying or visiting the accommodation arising out of personal injuries, accident or death; property loss or damages; loss or changed itinerary resulting from any acts of omission of the owner of the accommodation, his employees or agents, or any other party not under the direct employ and control of LaCURE or from any act of God, war, strikes, government, or any other event or cause beyond its control. It is recommended that each guest procure insurance for the protection of persons and property and with respect to personal liability, while traveling to and from and occupying the accommodations. In the event of any dispute arising out of this rental agreement, the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada, shall apply and the prevailing party shall recover its costs, expenses, and reasonable attorney's fees.
